This "Dingue de Toi" from Château Grand Blaquière comes from the Languedoc, at the foot of the Larzac plateau. The vineyards are located at an altitude of approximately 300 meters, where cooler temperatures and poor soils of schist and red ochre ensure grapes with extra balance and concentration. The estate is also in the process of converting to organic viticulture, with great attention to nature and terroir.
The wine itself is rich and concentrated, made from Merlot and first aged in concrete tanks to preserve the fruit beautifully. Afterwards, it receives a special finishing touch in Sherry casks, which provides extra depth and an original note. In scent and taste, you discover aromas of black and red fruits, combined with soft spicy accents.
An accessible yet characterful wine that perfectly complements cozy dinners, tapas or evenings where the bottle can certainly draw attention on the table.
