Punish Me! is a full-bodied and expressive cuvée from Saint-Chinian Berlou, an appellation primarily made with Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. Expect dark fruit, pepper, bay leaf, and a hint of smoke. The palate is firm yet rounded, with supple tannins and a long, spicy finish.
The provocative label and gift box are playful, but the wine is surprisingly serious: ripe, concentrated and typically southern French.
